Domain Value Checker — What Is My Domain Worth?
Check any domain's market value in seconds. Our algorithm scores TLD, length, keyword strength, and brand-ability to produce a realistic USD price range. 100% free, no signup required.
How the estimate works
The estimator uses a multi-factor algorithm that mirrors how domain marketplaces like Sedo, GoDaddy Auctions, and Afternic price domains. No external API call — the score is computed instantly in your browser.
- TLD value (0-30 points): .com is worth most, then .io / .ai / .co, followed by .net / .org. New TLDs (.xyz, .online) score lowest.
- Length (0-30 points): 1-3 character domains are premium (rare and memorable). 4-6 is great. 7-12 is typical. 13+ loses points.
- Character composition (0-15 points): all-letter domains score highest. Hyphens and digits reduce value (harder to remember and dictate).
- Keyword strength (0-15 points): commercially valuable English words (crypto, AI, app, finance, health) add value. Brandable nonsense words score moderately.
- Pronounceability (0-10 points): domains that read like words score higher than letter scrambles like "xqzpv".
Why this matters
Whether you're buying, selling, or just curious, knowing a domain's rough value helps you:
- Avoid overpaying when buying from marketplaces.
- Set realistic asking prices when selling.
- Spot undervalued domains in expired-domain auctions.
- Decide whether a domain is worth registering for a project.
Limitations
No automated estimator can replace a human appraiser for high-value domains. This tool gives an algorithmic baseline for negotiation, not an authoritative price. Real market value also depends on traffic history, backlink profile, age, brand fit, and buyer demand at any given moment.
